Protection from fire? This ANSI/ISEA 107 Class 3 compliant jacket is flame-resistant thanks to its PVC-coated Nomex material. Nomex is a cousin to Kevlar (the bulletproof jacket material) and is renowned for its flame-resistant properties. This Tingley jacket features patent-pending, Thermo-grid technology that helps block out heat energy. The collar of this yellow jacket is made of flame-resistant corduroy and comes with a roll-a-way hood for comfort and convenience. It conforms to ASTM F1891 for Arc Thermal Performance, ASTM F2733 for Flash Fire Performance, and meets NFPA 70E, Hazardous Risk Category 2. It meets these stringent requirements so you can stay safe on the job.

Protection from water? This flame-resistant jacket is also liquid-proof. The aforementioned PVC-coated Nomex provides 100% liquid-proof protection in a soft, lightweight material. The seams and zipper have also been designed to keep liquid out. Therm-O-Rad sealed seams provide 100% liquid-proof protection. The zipper/storm fly front with snap closure and hidden hardware seals out rain and other liquids along with heat, wind, and contaminants when you wear this men’s jacket. Protection from the dark? Well, we can’t promise full boogey man protection, but this FR jacket does come with 2-inch silver reflective tape that reflects light for 360 degree nighttime visibility. It’s also incredibly visible during the day as well thanks to its fluorescent background colors. Visibility is one of the keys to safety, and this ywlllow jacket makes sure you won’t blend into the background.

Some final safety features include D-ring access for a fall protection harness and non-conductive/non-corrosive hardware.
